E-Migrate Service


  • Vide Merchant Shipping Notice No. 07/2017 Dated 11.08.2017, E-migrate System for Seafarers Was Launched by Directorate General of Shipping Wherein Data of Indian Seafarers Engaged Through Following Three Channels Shall Be Accepted:
    • By the Indian Flag Ship Owners for Indian Flag Ship.
    • By the RPSLs, for Foreign Flag Ships and Indian Flag Ships.
  • For First Two Cases Mentioned Herein, E-migrate System May Be Accessed by User Id and Password Allotted to Concerned Ship Owner / RPSL.
  • The Seafarer Engaged Through Non-registered RPS Shall Not Be Allowed to Leave the Country and Shall Be Prevented From Passing Through the Immigration Check Points.
  • The online generated herein is called Form-I [Erstwhile Form-IIIA] which contains following information regarding recruitment of any seafarer:
    • Name of Recruiting Agency.
    • Details of Vessel I.e. Name, Flag and IMO Number.
    • Details of Seafarer, I.e. Name, INDOS, CDC Number.
    • Date of Departure From India
    • Date of Sign-on Vessel
    • Date of Sign-off Vessel
    • Date of Arriving India
