Crew Branch
  1. Dealing with disputes between ship owners/RPSLs and seafarers.
  2. Handling all seafarer's grievances.
  3. Processing compensation cases for wage disputes, death, injury, etc.
  4. Technical administration of BSID, CDC, and INDOS systems.
  5. Oversight of RPSL matters as per the Merchant Shipping - Recruitment and Placement of Seafarers Rules.
  6. Supervision of Seafarer's Employment Offices and Shipping Offices.
  7. Administration of the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour) Rules.
  8. Coordination with Director General, COMM, and Crisis Response mechanisms.
  9. Liaison with Seafarer's Unions and Associations.
  10. Communication with MHA on shore leave related issues.
