Workshop and Trainings
JNPA hosted a Workshop for all ViBHAS and NAVIC Members of International Cooperation Cell No1 at Nhava Sheva on 10th December 2024, supported by Primus Partners Private Limited. The workshop was chaired by Hon'ble Director General of Shipping Shri Shyam Jagannathan and Hon'ble Chairman JNPA Shri Unmesh Wagh, the nodal officers of the NAVIC Cell 1. The attendees of the workshop included Sh. Manoj Kumar Singh (US, Shipping), Sh. Navneet Kadlyan (SO, IC Division) from the VIBHAS Cell, Sh. Samrat Rahi, Dy. Chairman, KDS, SMPA, Sh. Sunil Mukundan, MD, IPGL, Sh. Erasanna Kumar Rajakumaran, Assistant Professor, IMU, Sh. Shitesh Ranjan (DDG II, Intl. Coop.), Sh. Sivaram N, General Manager (BD-SB), CSL, Sh. Naveen Tripathi, DGM(SB&S), SCI, Sh. Sanjay Rawool, CGM (Projects & CC),IPRCL from the NAVIC Cell, Sh. Rajan Gurav, Advisor JNPA and Consultants including Smt. Niveditthaa Rajendran, Sh. Salvinay Achutuni, Primus Partners Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Shishir Shrotriya, Head CMEC.
The 1-day workshop focused on crucial topics such as shipping bilateral arrangements and the establishment of green corridors for ports and economic corridors. The workshop served as a platform to bring all the stakeholders of the cell on the same page about the larger objectives of the IC cell and also emphasised the role and active participation of each member of the cell towards achieving the goals set out under the 100-day, 1 year and 5 year action plans. The workshop helped in discussing, analysing, reprioritizing the interventions of the Cell. This was followed by mapping of interventions to responsible agencies for further actions.
