Engineering Wing
  1. All Administrative and Staff Matters pertaining to the Engineering Wing.
  2. CPIO of the Engineering Wing as per RTI Act.
  3. All matters related to Rajbhasha monitoring and implementation in the Engineering Wing.
  4. All matters related to survey and certification of ships, exemptions/dispensations under SOLAS, MARPOL, Ballast Water Management and Antifouling Conventions.
  5. All matters related to Flag State Implementation and Port State Control of Indian ships and foreign-flagged ships arriving at Indian ports.
  6. All matters related to monitoring of Recognised Organisations (ROs).
  7. Nodal Officer for implementation and monitoring of all e-governance and IT infrastructure related matters of the Engineering Wing including transition to the new website and e-Samudra system, with assistance from other Engineering Wing officers.
  8. All matters related to IMSAS audit as the Single Point of Contact for India.
  9. Matters related to IOCE-SMarT and BSMarTC.
  10. Any other matter as may be assigned by the Chief Surveyor.

International Cooperation Branch
  1. Vetting of legal documents.
  2. Monitoring of court cases (LIMBS).
  3. MoU/agreement related work.
  4. IMO/Legal Committee preparation and representation.
  5. All matters related to international cooperation.
