Engineering Wing
- All routine applications related to issuance of Engineering Stream Certificates of Proficiency (COPs).
- All matters related to IN-MN Transition and certification, in consultation with DyCS (3).
- All matters related to Port Reception Facilities including monitoring of complaints on GISIS and scheduling of audits.
- Single Point for all correspondence with various Ministries, other Branches etc., and coordination matters, with the approval of the Chief Surveyor.
- In-charge of MEO Class IV examination including approval of results, issuance of COCs and e-Pariksha grievance related matters.
- Nodal Officer for dealing with Court case matters, VIP References and Parliamentary Queries referred to the Engineering Wing, with assistance from relevant officers and approval of the Chief Surveyor.
- Nodal Officer for Helpdesk matters.
- Coordinating Indo-Danish Centre of Excellence related activities as a Steering Group Committee Member.
- Coordinating IMO GloNoise Project related activities.
- Implementation and monitoring of transition to the proposed new website & e-Samudra system in the respective area of responsibility, in consultation with DyCS (2).
- Any other matter as may be assigned by the Chief Surveyor.
